Hi Wendy, that's always a little puzzling! My boys were not the least bit interested in food at 6 mo. My ped. told me not to worry and just keep trying here and there, that the majority of calories and nutrition the first year still come from breast milk or formula. (These boys are children 4 and 5 out of 6 children) Sounds like you are on the right track. Do you use finger foods yet? They will love that! Gerber has a good website with example menus for different ages. Good Luck!
