my now 9 mo twins were in the nicu for a month so they were on a schedule when they came home. One of them had a hard time adjusting to being home and needed the secure feeling of his own basinet which we borrowed for a while. They then slept together in a cosleeper or with us until about six mos when we bought one crib and separated them into different rooms because their cries would disturb eachother. Now they are in their own cribs in the same room. The same crib would never work because they grab eachothers faces and do other such things. One piece of advice is to set up as much help as you can. I think it would be ideal to have 24 hour help in which all you have to worry about is feeding while you recuperate. After that you need help so you don't go crazy. I still really appreciate my family coming over regularly. Taking care of twins is exhausting but so worthwhile. Good luck!
