Posted by Allison All I can say is just stick it out. I remember it was very sudden...one night mine did a 6 hour stretch or so and it was heaven. As far as sleeping too much during the day, I woke mine up during the day when they were confused about night vs. day. Good luck!

Like you said, its hard to keep perspective, but this is very normal. I didn't get any sleep until mine were about 3 months old. They were born a month early and I was up about every hour for the first few months. My husband was out of state - but if I had anyone there to help we would do shifts. It is much better to get a half night of sleep each than for one person to be up all night.
