Posted by Wendy 1-He just had a tooth emerge which means this whole time, he's been teething. You could try orajel or tylenol, or other teething comforts 2-I also found out that he had an ear infection which makes sucking painful. 3-Distractibility--He is so interested in seeing what's going on and to be moving around on the floor that it's hard to get him to hold still for anything let alone feeding. He nurses much better at night when he's only half awake or in a quiet darkened room with minimal distractions. 4--We're also dealing with reflux and have him on baby Zantac. Good luck. If anyone has any other advice, I'd be really appreciative as well. Wendy

I'm kind of having the same problem with one of my twins while breastfeeding. While I haven't completely figured it out I think it's related to several factors. You might want to look into them to see if they help:
