These are very good questions. I know when my husband and I started out we both were up feeding the twins at the same time. Until we got them on a routine it was easier to get them on a schedule that was easiest for them. There were many times that we didn't wake them up when they were sleeping. It's good sometimes because when they are sleeping they are growing more.
