Its arrived!! we received the first initial copies of the book, Malay Art of Self Defense: Silat Seni Gayong
It is better than I imagined it would be! A big CONGRADULATIONS to my teacher, mentor, brother, and friend Sheikh Shamsuddin "Sam" Salim! It is not available to the general public yet, but once it is I would like to hear reviews of the book from all Gayong Pesilat who post here as well as others who do other silat. My teacher encourages all critisms, he is already working on the revised edition. We (Cikgu Sam, myself and three other students) are leaving for M'sia this wed. the 3rd, so I wont be posting till we return the 22nd.
