Zach, When I was just a kid, I had a few cows. It was my project and my responsibility. I use to run, non show heifers and cows into a pin. catch them with a rope and the arthritic neighbor guy would come and help me AI. I had no chutes, no allies or tubs. I only had wood gates and rope halters. We would tie them to the post and squeeze them to the wall. Put a two by four in the back it keeps the kickers from getting you.
