we feed the steers silage. We've never had it tested for Dry Matter, Protein, or TDN, so what i do is put one calf in the pen and dump a bucket of so just to see how much they eat. leave them for 20 minutes and clean up what is left. feed however much it ate in that 20 minute period to everything
