: I have just installed a cooler in my barn, my
: question is what is the best routine to do
: with my calf’s. I know you are suppose to
: turn them out every night and bring them in
: every morning. So I am I suppose to wash
: them in the morning and put them in the
: cooler to dry, or do I wash them and blow
: them out. Do I feed them in the cooler?
: Should I keep buckets of water in front of
: them during the day, or only water them when
: I am in the barn. And the last question is
: what is the best way to work cooler room
: calf’s hair? Thanks in advance matt.
:
I blow my cattle out in the morning and then I'll rinse, comb and put them in the cooler. I also spray revive to keep the hair from getting dry. You can either feed them in the cooler or outside, at night blow them out, rinse or wash, and comb and dry them.
