Last Spring I tested all of my shorthorns that were suspected carriers of TH. This Spring I plan on TH testing and PHA testing all fo my heifers that I retain. I have not had any luck on finding out how the blood should be contained. I know that for the TH test it required 2cc's of whole blood. Does the multiple test need more blood and do they need to be in a seperate tube for each test? Will I need to send more blood in for the heifers I had tested last year for their PHA test? How much blood is required for both tests and do they need to be in different purple top tubes? I have tried finding this information out, but have not been successful, so if you know please send me the message.
