All those "great old bulls" are outdated. Very few of them would be able to produce cattle that are as good as the new bulls. Those bulls were good for their day but cattle are much better than they were even say 10 years ago. Sure there are a couple bulls that might be worth cloning...maybe... but most of them don't have what it takes to consistantly produce good cattle like newer bulls do. More cattle are being bred and quite a few people are investing lots of money in the business along with just about anybody being able to get their cows AI'd to the top bulls out there which is making for the cattle industry to be leaps and bounds away from what it used to be.
