when a sperm or egg cell is made, the parent cell divides by meiosis and just splits the dna into two different cells so that when the sex cells join they just combine the present dna
: ACTUALLY, I THOUGHT GENES WERE CHOSEN
: RANDOMLY AT THE MEETING OF SPERM & EGG
: AND HOW COULD THERE ONLY BE 50% OF HIS DNA.I
: MEAN LIKE CLONED SEMEN.

: I beleive that would be very difficult
: considering that the sperm inside semen only
: contain 50% of the DNA from its producer.

: THE TECHNOLOGY IS OUT THERE TO CLONE BULLS,
: COWS, STEERS. 1)CAN THEY MAKE CLONES FROM
: SEMEN
: IF SO, WHY NOT BRING BACK POWER PLANT OR
: CUNIA WHERE SEMEN ISN'T $300 PER STRAW OR
: OTHER GOOD BULLS WHO HAVE PAST LONG AGO.
: THIS IS ALL ON THE ASSUMPTION YOU CAN MAKE
: CLONES FROM SEMEN
