I definitely feel that shirley couldn't win the most popular female singer even she continued in 96. As ward said, she was only considered as a sik lik singer and also her average sales of cd is about 50000 copies (excluding all time favorite). As I can remember sammi at time already gains a stable sale of 150000 copies for few albums (with all new songs) and the one behind her was amanda lee (about 100000 copies) .. So i really think that shirley still needs more "yan hei" to make that since she is not the cup of tea for everyone (at least most ppl agreed that they liked sammi way better)
