Posted by creative.utopia on 10/27/2002, 6:00 am i'm not a materialistic fan who assume the musician of my admiration to turn big, i jsut insist they must turn winner. winner takes many forms. anon mention anthony can do this and that (which i'm not familiar) but if i take ur example, i'm sure Shirley had accumulated reasonable wealth during her active years...that shold be enough for some small scale production if u really lve music..or collaborate u\with ur freinds....i see a constant flow of self-missioned singers having recognition from the mass too..it depends on how an individual graps the chance adn discover the path for themselves. and lastly, its not neccesary to put a sentence or to make up the mind that "if she does not have new album..i'll..." if she used to be or she is ur icon of admiration for music, then she is forever unless one day the person make a turn into the direction u personallu no more admire. even if she "disappear" again..then label her as past but permanent interest. simple as that..past victories. all that goes up must come down? ;-] creative utopia,

i did ponder the fact that music is not all of shirley as i had put in previous mes. definitely she has somethin more meaningful to cling to. but if i take an artist a real artist, art is the most important meaning in life. passion of their spiritual being is everything, above everything, dependig on their way of expression. a person might choose to be street performer, that's theri stage; a painter living a begger life, tahts their stage, a musician turn establich a college a workshop, thats their stage; an antique collector turn writer sharign his/her critique on art collection, thats their stage....etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc...and failure of pursuing theri passion is major failure of life because u've called that a passion.
