Carol,
Take a look at this map.
A = Fish Creek Camp
B = The primary water source. This indeed might be dry this year. It was flowing in May when I was there, but might not be now.
C = The secondary water source.
"C" will be flowing even in very dry years. I bet you can get water at "C". It's a little longer to carry in though.
I guess it's either that or camp outside the wilderness area.
