As of 6/23 and 6/24 when we were down there with the SGWA trail crew there was no water at Jim's mark "C". There was however a really good flow at his mark "B". When you're hiking down the trail about a third mile below Mineshaft Flats you'll make a sharp right. At that point you'll hear water flowing to your left in the manzanita. There's a marked use trail to the water at the sharp right going left. From what I saw then, I'd be happy getting down the trail and depending on water at this source now. I'm anxiously looking to get into that area once again before the end of the season! Any takers to go with Mr Jim?
