On a Saturday morning, I can get to San G in under two hours, but still, it's no substitute for being close by.
I'm a computer programmer by profession. Mostly I work with the SAS language although I've worked with other languages. I was doing some work with Informatica PowerCenter which is an ETL tool at my last job. PowerCenter is a pretty cool product.
My current contract is in Irvine and ends in early October. Hope I can find something that allows me to hike. Just gaining weight sitting on the train these days. Thank God there is a train though and that I have a job!

: Wow HJ.
: Didnt know you lived so far away.
: I thought you were a local.
: In fact, I thought you lived ON San
: Gorgonio.
:
: What is your profession? :-)
:
: Yeah. Kind of nice living in
: Yucaipa. I can do an overnight and
: then pack up and go to work in the
: morning without any hassle. :-)

: lol. Funny thing is that if I did
: bring her, she'd do her darndest to
: help out. She's a sweetie (until
: she gets really tired, then not so
: much).
:
: I need a permanent job in Yucaipa or
: something. Living in Glendale and
: being a temporary contractor in
: Irvine is pretty much sucking.

: about that "restoring"
: statement. Ah. I so wish. Pray
: for a job that lets me have a little
: more time.
:
: Oh, and somebody to watch
: "squirt."

: Also, quit photo shopping my

: There's only supposed to be a sign,

: Yeah, Patrick,
:
: It is a little weird, but it's a
: wonderful connector for those
: wanting to make a loop hike from the
: Forsee Creek Trailhed. It's also a
: nice through hike from Angelus Oaks.
: Lastly, it makes a great, big loop
: if you want to go up via Dry Lake,
: do all nine of the "Big
: Nine" and then come down
: through Johns Meadow, ending at
: Forsee Creek. An eminently
: worthwhile trail and one that really
: should be restored to maintained
: status.

: I hiked that trail once...
: If I recall, it has switchbacks that
: aren't needed, and could use some
: switchbacks where there aren't any.
: Its just.... weird.
