Two of us, both with some climbing experience, spent a lot of time at the base of the summit block. The issue was not climbing it, but how to safely descend. The block is large and well rounded. The roundness would make it impossible to see footholds. Slipping off would not be good, as there is no place to land without a likelihood of significant body damage. We decided to come back another day and to bring with us either someone who could call out footholds for us or at least a rope (though it's not obvious that there would be anything on top to which a rope could be securely attached).
As far as ratings, this is much more exposed and intimidating than Marion, which we've done a few times, with and without snow and ice.
