That marker, it's between San Gorgonio and Dollar Lake Saddle, right? On the flanks of the Charltons?
I've always assumed it's some kind of mile marker, but I don't really know. It is about 6 miles from the old Falls Creek trailhead to that point if it's where I think it is.
