The Station Fire is at 98% containment, the last 2% is near Twin Peaks in the San Gabriel Wilderness in very rugged and steep terrain inaccessible to ground crews. So it will probably not be called 100% contained until it rains.

"Once conditions have improved the [forest] closure will be modified to allow public access to some unburned areas that have been deemed safe for visitors. Reopening of certain areas not burned in the Morris and Station Fires is not necessarily dependent on full containment of the Station Fire. That may not occur until the San Gabriel Wilderness has received significant rainfall."
