Plot required in Oxfordshire for new self build

my wife and I are currently looking for a plot of land within 30 minutes drive of Oxford, ideally with OPP and suitable for a small self build project.
I'm also interested in hearing from anyone in the area who has recently completed a self build project who could offer advice on good local build companies etc.
