Yes. You need to ensure that it meets current building regs for a "warm deck" solution without "cold bridging". You need to demonstrate that to your local and very friendly (sic) building inspector that you pay council tax to for the benefit of little help. In fact no help. Mine clearly had no up-to-date knowledge and took some convincing but eventually agreed with my proposals for a polyurethane solution. If he had worked for me he would have been sacked for gross negligence in handling a customer.
