I wish to build a fieldstone house

Hello,
could anyone tell me where I might find some literature on building an actual fieldstone structure? I'm not having any luck. I wish to build a basic bungalow using fieldstone. Is this still structurally sound according to today's standards? Any good books, or arcitects out there that have dealt with this project before.
Any information, or examples are greatly appreciated.
Bought farm land in Ontario, Canada to build on next year. Many lovely stones on the land already so I'd love to investigate this option.
