Posted by Jonathan Ray Very few of the companies have a BBA certificate for their system. The BBA certificate is proof that the quality of the chemicals and workmanship satisfies and surpasses all building regs, and can therefore not be turned down by any buidling inspector or surveyor. The systems that I have used guarantee the product for a long time, and arent too difficult to effect repairs (manual removal of product and then replacement of tiles), but because of the very nature of this product and the fact that it doesnt corrode or weaken with age means that as long as the roof was in god condition prior to spraying then this shouldnt be a problem. Also, if the roof is felted then the spray sticks to the felt and not to the tiles thus making roof repairs identical to a non-sprayed roof. The system is used all over the world, is effective and proven. It is typical that we Brits take so long to catch up. Just my opinion.

I have used Renotherm on several occasions to insulate and stabilise the roof of some very large barn conversions, and have been very pleased with the results.
