I see that the SDRRMA finally selected Don Robar and the Monarchs for the 3rd induction ceremony -- and DJ and the Cats for the 4th event. What is a total mystery to me is SDRRMA's refusal to select El Risty and the Flames for induction. Whatever the reason, it must be based on some childish point or points -- certainly not a professional consideration.

I've known Don Spawn (Robar) and Terry and Trav Hutchison (Cats) since 1960. Both had excellent bands -- both groups certainly deserved recognition. Don and, Terry and Trav are still very talented.

I've known El Risty since 1959 and was quite familiar with his guitar and voice skills. I've heard him play and sing several times in the early 60's -- also, a very talented individual. Again, your denial of his contributions to R&R in the late 50's and early 60's escapes all logic. I'd like to know your reasoning -- do you have any?
