After The Cavaliers broke up, i was hired by Mark Kimmel, Mark and Kenny Reynolds, the founders of The Outer Limits. Mark Kimmel and i took care of the lead vocal and guitar, Mark Reynolds on keyboards, Kenny Reynolds of drums, and Mike Reiger from brookings on bass. We played just about everywhere for several years in clubs such as the Macamba Club, Showboat, and a hugh ballroom in Iowa that i can't remember the name of, and a strip club in Fort Pierre that you had better know a lot of CCR or you wouldn't make it out alive, (The Trails End) The Outer Limits were an extremely popular group for proms and dance halls everywhere. I left the group in 73 when i was transferred to Southern Calif. At that time, a really talened guitarist took my place, his name was Randy Baumman. I lost track of the group untill i moved back from California in 85. At that time i was overed a spot singing with the group Something New in whick Mark Kimmel was one of the musicians. I know that sometime later, Larry Green of Madison and Gary Snow played with the Outer Limits. If anyone else know more, please log on and let us know.
Thanks, Dave Cecil
