I MET LYAL IN 1961 AT THE S.D. STATE FAIR IN HURON. I WAS IMPRESSED THE WITH THE SIZE HIS BOOTH. HE SAID THAT HE WAS THE LARGEST FENDER DEALER IN THE MIDWEST AND THAT HE GAVE CURT POWELL AND JERRY HUAKKE GUITAR LESSONS. HE SAID THAT HE WOULD ORDER $50,000 FROM THE FACTURY AT FENDER SITE DRAFT. THAT MEANS THAT HE PRIORTY DELIVERY FROM FENDER IN OTHER WORDS, HIS ORDER WOULD PUT FENDER IN BACK ORDER I HIS BACK YARD HE A HUGH GARAGE. IT PILED TO RAFTERS WITH FENDER AMPS AND GUITARS
