Notice there's several YouTube clips showing a seventies Flippers reunion at Marcus Iowa. I left SD in 1967 and the Danny Hein group was the only one I remember. Assume that Mid-Continent owned the name and the Flippers, like a lot of other bands like Spider and the Crabs were repackaged. I dislike people who whine about Starship, Guess Who and Little River Band not being "real". Frankly I feel that the more geezer horn bands out there the better--there may even be more Apostles working in Kansas. Does anybody know who they were, how long they stayed together, etc?
