That the scores of the games isn't correct! How do they come up with the scores they post?

I think what happens sometimes is scores are updated by the umpires between innings. So at the end of the game the last team to bat sometimes doesn't get there score updated on the scoreboard and the director thinks the board is correct. I've seen this happen many times

That definitely happened at the California Major. I know firsthand.
