I enjoy looking at your list of the up and coming players you have seen. It's good to see the guys that are keeping softball going.

Soon. Just need some free time and it will be up. The USSSA Major list will be updated in November around the time of the convention so my list will be out in the next week or two.

The Major Watch list additions are confusing. Josh Frank - I'm a Josh Frank fan and he is a good infielder and a solid Conference player, but how do you watch list a guy that didn't even start on Sinister half the time? Brian Logan - one of the best defensive center fielders in the game but I don't think he has over a .600 onbase percentage. He is still developing as a player and basically bats last for his team. How do you watch list this guy? One of the requirements is batting average. Brandon Jonas - Played half a year of 'A'. Was part of Taylormades great run at the Major. But you watch list him? Does he even have a team for 2012? One of the requirements according to the rule book is that to be on the Major list you have to average 1 over the fence homerun per game. Brandon showed he could hit at the Major but went the whole season without a homerun. John Robinson - great player and a player that teams should take a look at but he played one year of 'A' and is on watch list?

Scratch that DW, i hit 2 homeruns in Atlanta with Gas It. So scratch that. And I do have a team for next year.

Got it Brandon. But how can they put you on the list when you played half a season of 'A'? Less than 100 plate appearances. I don't think thats ever been done and isn't fair. But congratulations because it is a great recognition. Rockoff was the only 'B' player listed that I can think of in recent history and that was because he led the conference in onbase percentage.

Ohh im not saying i agree with it. The only thing I can figure is that it is because I was on the all world team for the major. Me and B-Lo both were on it.

I understand that there are different ways to get on the Major Watch list. One is an area director that feels a player shouldn't be playing lower than 'B'. Another is performing well on softballs biggest stage the Major World Series. And the final way is to do well in the Conference throughout the season. To get off the list, a player needs to fill out the application for removal.

Brandon you act like it's a good thing? Your screwed now man. All those local pick up tournaments in Carolina are over. Rules state that you can not play below class B on any utrip team. So I'm with DW on this one. Great tournament in florida but I wouldn't want that on me unless I was locked down in a major team for several years to come. Really screws you locally too.

Honestly i could care less. and unless my team is playing i do not play utrip in nc. so ive never played a pick up utrip tourny.

Brandon you know the real reason they put you on the list was because you won the ISA Coed World last weekend! LOL! Congrats on the win and I saw you blow a homerun out of there like it was nothing so tell DW you have the power you are just saving it for the other guys. See you next year and good luck
