Actually..... It matters a lot what letter is by certain teams.
If you have turned B into a Division dominated by around twenty teams that Division will quickly be reduced to A Division (almost non existent) status.
Look at A ball now... What????? 9 or 10 teams?
The utrip B Division team numbers have cratered in the last
5? years...
Leaving A caliber teams in B quickly runs all the average B teams to C..... That's already happened/happening.
You now have C teams flying out to COMPETE in the CONference... If left unchecked this will reduce the C Division to numbers resembling the current B program in a few short years.
The current usssa travel or play Stay home and play E or D ball is doomed to fail.
So...... YES..... Letters matter. Local ball is being killed by the current CONference set up..
