No. $5k insures you have the points to avoid having to play Resmondo in the first round.
I'm not saying I'm for or against a blind draw but I know none of the conference teams want it. Why would they, they earned the rights by having enough points to avoid Resmondo for at least the first round.
This blind draw idea is only wanted by a few fans like yourself who are interested to see a closely matched game early in the tournament. Problem is there are no fans at the games so you make the rules for the sponsors. When there are 5,000 fans at the game we can revisit.
I'm all for a blind draw for the second HOF tourny. That would be cool.
