A little explantion of what was going on and what we were trying to do....
We started out with the decoy coming in the yard and rattling the front gate, then proceeding to enter the yard and pound on the house and rattle the down stairs windows to simulate someone doing something suspecious or attempting to find a way in the house. He was to remain unseen to the dogs untill after 1-2 minutes of this, and then he was supposed to go in front of the window and pace back and forth all suspecious like so the dogs could then see him.
At that point we gave Jade the alert command and the poor thing got her foot stuck in the window shade string and almost ripped it down. The inside part didnt go as smooth as planned because we ended up putting alot of effort into keeping Jade from tearing the house apart.
Anyhow after I let her see the decoy and gave the alert I put the leashes on the two dogs and left to go see what the dude outside was up too. We had a quick conversation in front of the window so the dogs could see and then the decoy attacked me and my wife again gave the alert command while Jade was watching me get attacked threw the window. So after a moment of watching this Jade had all four paws on the window glass trying to jump threw the window and again she got her foot stuck in the window shade string and almost tore it off the track. We got lucky though no damage on the new house, my wife would have killed me but thats another story...
Then my wife let the two dogs outside and ran to the front pourch as fast as she could to try and capture on film when the dogs got to us. We were still fighting the whole time as I wanted the first thing the dogs saw when they came running in the yard is the master under attack. Our front lawn is 75 yards long I am supprised my wife didnt catch Jade intiall strike on film. As you can see on the clip Tony is several seconds behind Jade, either Jade is really fast or Tony is getting slow in his old age.
I already knew not to expect much of Tony the shepherd working off leash but I wanted to make the scenario as real as possible, and the two dogs are loose together in the house 24/7. So I let him tag along too...
