Ever watch a Shepherd (human) send hisdog out three or four hundred yards at a dead run, then with a simplewhistle drop them to a sliding down in motion. Or seen the cow dog, just a spec in the distance, follow hand signals, left to right, closerand closer until the herd was standing in front of the gate, dogholding them steady until the gate is opened to let them in?
This teamwork and perfect control from a quarter mile away is not donewith electric collars. In fact, if it is a Tony McCallum trained dog, chances are the dog has never even worn a collar. It’s all done withgood old fashioned Dog training. If you are interested in this type ofoff lead control no matter what type of dog work you do we would liketo invite you to a seminar with Tony McCallum, Friday, Nov. 6 in Ft.Worth Texas.
Mr McCallum is the only person to ever win the grand slam of Cowdogcompetitions, the New Zealand Championship, the Australian Championshipand the World Championship three times with three different dogs.
