nothing wrong with that. You need to have goals for pups. I don't think it's that people don't think those breeds can work b/c the breeds themselves aren't "good". I think it is because most people that are breeding those dogs don't do anything with them. They have been bred for so long to do and be nothing more than pets or in a rare case, show dogs. So much of what made that breed has been bred out of the dog. What a shame! A family member has a Dane b###h that is awesome. She is just a pet but runs free (something that I do not suggest but that's what they let her so). She is a very good dog but doesn't "know" anything. She's just there but talk about an athlete! She is fit as hell and ripped. You've never seen a Dane look like this. She is prob 110-115 lbs of lean muscle, rib showing. She's the best Dane I've ever seen. Would she have been a working dog...prob not! Anyway, good luck with your girl!
