It was just something I thought about for transport to hold them up. It would NOT have been intended to be a fix for the problem...but just to give us 30 minutes to get to the vet. Believe it or not, I have heard of hog hunters doing this in the field with hog dogs with good success...until they are able to get to the vet, have the dog opened up and properly dealt with.
