you know, i think i asked a question on another board (not saying which one) that would have been along this same line. You know, the only thing i got in response was things like "we don't breed for color, why would you breed for color, color is not important, blah blah blah."
i think that is important to know how many generations back should you look to try and determine where a color comes from. it may help identify patterns for genetic defects.
