Sorry to hear about all of this and yes the Co says it will take care of any vet bills if your dog gets heartworms while on their product. But I am sure there is a loop hole some where.I have been using Ivermectin 1% for about 15 years now with no problem a old vet told me about it. Ivermectin will take care of certain types of worms and vets will use it to treat Demodectic mange if they are not sure what it is.My vet wanted to charge me $90 for the same amount I get at TSC for $28. It is all a money thing for them.Best of luck I know how well you all take care of your dogs.If I can help just let me know.
