I live in "Heartworm country" here in SC. I also work at a vet's office. We see heartworm positive dogs everyday. Around here we have had dogs testing positive if their owners are late by only a few weeks with their prevention. Our vets do not suggest most pet owners to use straight Ivermec simply because most people are too stupid to dose it correctly. However, we do sell it and will help people figure out their doses. Someone mentioned Panacur. This is a great dewormer works for rounds, hooks, whips. Please keep us updated as to what happens with you and the Merial company (thats a big company to take on). I think that the problem that you may have is proveing that you gave the product correctly. Sucks that this has happened to you...good luck!
