ski, which company did you use? we went with bouchard because there was no extra charge for damage if something happened or tires got flat spotted, which is what a lot of other schools had. and someone did spin out and almost caught the fence between one and two at the end of the day.
my friend who had never been in a car before was running around :30, which i think is pretty respectable for someone whose never driven before... getting on the gas in the middle of the turn when youre still staring at the wall isnt a natural thing to do! ken would run as fast as you were comfortable going, just staying ahead of you to show you the groove. no radios or anything.
i was running 23.5 or so. the cars were de-tuned to the point they were very easy to drive, and i doubt i could have gotten much more out of it. i believe real mods run in the 19sec range.
i'm about 5'10" 250 and i had to fish flop out myself lol. what guys like us need is a troyer wide chassis...
