Ok I read all the posts and here is my opinion. Did Todd come down to protect the spot...Yes. Did crafton dump Todd....Yes. The problem here is Nascar and the tires. I was at the Gateway race and this wreck happened right in front of me. The reason Todd was protecting his spot is because he knew that the 88 was slower than him and Matt only had one shot at passing. This entire race the only real passing came on the restarts. The tires are to hard and passing after you get a couple laps of green is nearly impossible. Most of the tracks are the same way. Nascar desperatly needs to fix this! Todds truck was good but he had no shot at hornaday without hitting him. The same goes for Crafton. His truck was good but he had no shot at Todd or Hornaday unless he hit them! Thats not racing! Thats just moving someone out of the way to get the spot. Belive me the entire crowd was Booing Crafton after both wrecks. Todds comments were great! The whole crowd loved them! BTw- I had a scanner listening to Todd the whole race and Hillman Jr. said to Todd way early in the race that the 88 is driving crazy and he is going to wreck someone today! I started to keep an eye on the 88 and it was totally true! He was just pushing his way past people all day. Also as soon as the wreck happened Hillman Jr. said I knew it I would have bet you a million bucks that he would dump you. Then he said lets get it fixed were gonna go back out and f***in dump him!
That didn't happen because the truck was un drivable. Just thought I would give you some insight
