Another awesome weekend on the MIS infield. Not much that would be of interest to most of you, unless you like Kenny Wayne Sheperd. The best concert I've seen since..???..??? Couldn't stop talking about that all weekend. If you like bluesy rock and roll, you MUST see this guy play! I always like their music, but first time live. A can't-miss-show. And if anybody watched race day on Speed Sunday morning, you seen all of us with Rutledge!! He had all of us idiots with home made bikes line up on Saturday afternoon for a short piece. 3 of the 8 were built by me. And 2 others were built in my shop. The one I was standing behind was the first ('94) that I built for my buddy and his wife. (everybody probably missed me and stared at her)! He has a bum hip and I built it so his wife could help peddle when he couldn't. A side by side 2 seater tricycle made from scrap metal and a spool of wire for the welder. That trike also made Nascar Illustrated magazine a couple years ago.
Other than that, the racing was actually pretty good for a change. The NW race had alot of good racing and a fun finish to watch. A Michigan boy won so the crowd was happy too. Sunday started out boring until Mike Helton seen the sparse crowd leaving, and threw the "debris" caution. I won't complain because the racing was great from ther on. And JR Nation, that surrounds me on the infield, was pleased.
