he led early but had slid back to about 5th. looks like they had a bad pit stop or got caught making some adjustments, which put him back in the field, and sure enough he got caught up in someone else's mess. they made numerous pit stops to repair the damage, but were still in the pits as the field came through turn 3 under the last yellow. so he was already a half lap down when the field took the green. had there been another caution he might have had a 7th place truck or so.
looked to me like some mistakes in the pits cost him big - but even then the finish wasnt nearly as bad as it could have been. there were only 21 trucks still on the track around the halfway point.
