Kyle is driver of the year 1st quarter winner. He deserves to be there. Hendrick's loss is Gibb's gain. Gibbs pays him to win races and he is exactly what that 18 team needed. That is exactly what he was trying to do Saturday...win the race. The so called "incidents" are few and far between this season. He is agressive, has great car control...can drive them looser than anyone else out there and is only going to get better. He certainly does realize it when he has a second or third place car...and he tries to make it a winning car by driving it just a bit harder. That is what separates the winners from the also rans. These guys don't want to finish second or third. That is losing to them. A younger Dale Jr. sure had a knack for taking quite a few cars out...especially when he first entered the Busch series. And people love him to death. As Jr. said ... he himself took out Kyle last fall at Kansas. He certainly knows what it is like to be on both the giving and receiving ends even if it wasn't deliberate. That is racing. I respect your opinions Muskat, but I don't necessarily agree with them. It is on to Darlington this week. We shall see what is what there.
