Kyle and Jr. both going for it. Double dare anyone to blame one or the other for this. This is Richmond...this was a couple laps to go and this was a hungry Dale Jr. and an equally hungry Kyle Busch driving as hard as they could into three.
My view is that there was nothing deliberate about Kyle's actions. He did everything that I have come to expect from him. He is a racer through and through and like Dale, he was there all night lurking around behind the dominant Denny Hamlin who really was going to win the race. So was Mark Martin....just lurking and trying to stay in the hunt in case anything happened to the leader. We have seen this many times before. Nothing at all dirty about this incident. Sr. took out Labonte at Bristol years ago. Gordon has used the bump and run to win races also. But this was no bump and run. This was good, hard, close racing and this was Richmond.
And finally, I was entertained by the racing. That is what this is all about, isn't it ?
