I don't really think it is the COT that is causing boring races. The old car and the COT races tend to be boring. The races are boring because they are all about track position. I have said it for a long time now.....the whole problem with nascar at all levels is the tires. If the tires would fall off like they did in the 80's we would add a whole new strategy to the races. Don't get me wrong,I know that they can't be too soft due to saftey reasons such as when Hoosier came in to the Cup series in the 80's. At many of the tracks new tires don't even make a differance. Nascar has taken 1 whole demention out of racing.......Boring
