I write as Deputy President of the Rotary Club of Formby, Merseyside.
Although not in your district, I thought you might like to know and publicise the fact that four members of this club leave for Rwanda this Thursday, 3rd of March. We have a project under way supporting a maternity hospital in a place called Shyira, and during our two week trip we will be also aiming to visit an Africa Hope orphanage for Aids orphans.
I lived in Shrewsbury for two years and attended the Priory School for Boys in my youth.
On our return on March 17th I will be available for talks and a presentation, and as we are looking for all and any opportunity to raise awareness of the dire HIV/Aids situation in Africa and the needs of our 'adopted' hospital in particular.
