Hi Harriet, I was just reading your post where you said that you are a recovering alcoholic.
I know you and I aren't friends, but I just wanted to say that I admire and respect you for your recovery.You've come a long way! 4 years on the road to recovery is something to be PROUD of.
My father was an alcoholic when I was a little girl, and 30 something years later, he is still an alcoholic. I guess he never admitted that he was one, or took the steps to help himself. Because of his alcohol problem, my mother had to endure both mental and physical abuse.Some was quite servere.
I wish my Dad could be more like you.
Anyways, just wanted to let you know that I respect you turning your life around.
