Posted by Ted Please pardon my ignorance as far as Australia's involvement in the whole war against terror. But, from where I am, (as Lyndyl suggested), it isn't spoken about much here on the news. Australia and their involvement along side our troops is not a much talked about thing. The Anzus Treaty is something that I have not heard of at all -- and if I did, I had forgotten it. For you to be in school at this point must be truly educating Matt...you are definitely more in tuned with history and current events than I am. I know what I see on the news and not much of what's behind it -- who is allies with who...etc. None the less, I know now that Australia is in deeper than I thought. Hey Lyndl...contrary to that email I sent you a few weeks ago -- I do wish you safety on your trip to Melbourne.
