Not only were there several Aussies killed in the WTC, our Government has loudly and publicly stated support for the "War against Terror". There were Aussie troops in Afghanistan alongside your own. That may not have been reported on your news, but we all know it here. If you wanted to choose a spot where you could kill a large group of Australians without actually being in Australia, then Bali is the perfect place. There are thousands of Aussies there at any one time. The place that was bombed is called the Sari Club. It is THE place to go in Bali. It's right across the street from the hotel I stayed in last time I was in Bali (about 18 months ago) They also bombed 2 hotels. They were car bombs, placed at the entrances. It is suspected they were Suicide Bombers, and they were definitely part of the Indonesian branch Al Quaeda. There are still 160 Aussies unaccounted for. Thank you all for your prayers and thoughts. This is too close to home for comfort.
But, why was Australia targeted? I didn't even know you people were involved in this whole Sept 11th type crap.
